James Mellick’s Wounded Warrior Dogs and Faithful Companions

February 10, 2018 through April 14, 2018

Meet the Artist Reception
Saturday, Feb. 17th, 12:00pm–3:00pm
Gallery talks start at 1:00pm

This solo exhibition showcases Ohio artist James Mellick’s signature wood forms and includes the installation of his recent “Wounded Warrior Dogs Project.” Each dog represents a different military campaign, as well as the injuries that their human counterparts endure. Mellick created the installation to raise awareness of the sacrifices made by veterans and their needs now. Alongside this project, the museum will exhibit other faithful companions created by Mellick.
